Server & Communication Housings

Chassis and housings for server racks and communication infrastructure.

Panels, Mounts & Sub-Assemblies

Fixtures, mounting hardware, and welded sub-assemblies for diverse applications.

02 — Welding Processes

TIG / MIG / Spot Welding

We select the process based on material, thickness, joint design, cosmetic requirements, and throughput.

TIG

TIG Welding (GTAW)

Gas Tungsten Arc Welding

Best for fine control, clean beads, cosmetic surfaces, thin materials, and stainless steel/aluminum applications where appearance matters.

Fine Control Cosmetic Finish Thin Materials
MIG

MIG Welding (GMAW)

Gas Metal Arc Welding

Efficient for production, strong joints, and repeatable weld quality on steel/stainless where speed and throughput matter.

High Speed Strong Joints Production
RSW

Spot Welding

Resistance Spot Welding

Ideal for sheet-to-sheet lap joints, brackets, cabinet structures, and fast, consistent joining without continuous beads.

Lap Joints Fast Joining Consistent

03 — Materials

Materials We Weld

We support common sheet metals used in industrial manufacturing. If you have material grade, temper, and surface condition requirements, include them in the RFQ.

Stainless Steel
Steel / Mild Steel
Cold Rolled Steel / Hot Rolled Steel
Galvanized Sheet (process planning required)
Aluminum
Copper / Brass / Bronze (application dependent)
Nickel Alloys / Titanium (consultation required)
04 — Quality Standards

What “Good Welding” Means in Production

Professional customers don’t just want a weld that “holds” — they need predictable, inspectable results. We engineer for:

Correct Weld Spec

Correct weld size, location, and continuity per drawing specifications and callouts.

Stable Fit-Up

Controlled gaps and stable fit-up before welding to ensure joint integrity.

Distortion Control

Protect flatness and assembly alignment through controlled heat input and sequencing.

Clean Bead Profile

Especially important for cosmetic faces and surfaces requiring finishing treatment.

Smooth Transitions

For finishing compatibility — powder coat, paint, plating, and other treatments.

05 — Distortion Management

Dimensional Control & Distortion Management

Thin sheet metal can warp if heat input and sequence aren’t controlled. If your assembly has flatness, perpendicularity, or critical hole position requirements, mark them clearly as CTQ dimensions.

Proper Fixturing

Clamping strategies to hold parts in position during welding

Tack Strategy

Welding sequence planning for optimal stress distribution

Heat Input Control

Process parameters and travel speed management

Joint Design Review

Fit-up review during drawing evaluation phase

Post-Weld Correction

Straightening solutions when required and approved

06 — Integrated Workflow

Welding + Sheet Metal Fabrication — One Supplier, One Timeline

Welding quality depends on upstream processes. Rapidaccu supports the full workflow. This integration reduces miscommunication, shortens lead time, and improves final assembly fit.

08 — Quality Assurance

ISO 9001 Quality System & Pre-Shipment Inspection

Our welding service is managed under an ISO 9001 quality system with full-process monitoring and final verification. If you require inspection reports, define the format and CTQ features in your RFQ.

Quality Controls Include:

1 Drawing review and weld callout confirmation
2 In-process checks (fit-up, weld size, visual criteria per your spec)
3 Final dimensional inspection for assembly interfaces
4 100% inspection before shipment (per your inspection plan)
5 Rework/containment procedures for nonconformance control
09 — Weld Inspection

Optional Weld Inspection Methods

Depending on product requirements, we can support common inspection approaches. Tell us your acceptance standard or internal requirements so we can align the inspection plan.

VT

Visual Testing

For bead profile, discontinuities, and workmanship evaluation.

PT

Liquid Penetrant Testing

For surface-breaking indications (material dependent).

MT

Magnetic Particle Testing

For ferromagnetic materials (steel) — detecting subsurface indications.

LT

Leak Testing

For sealed enclosures — define method and acceptance criteria.

13 — FAQ

Welding FAQ — For Engineers & Buyers

Can you weld assemblies after laser cutting and bending?

Yes. We commonly produce complete assemblies: laser cut → bend → weld → finish → inspect. Our integrated workflow ensures consistency and reduces lead time by keeping everything under one roof.

Which welding process should I choose — TIG or MIG?

TIG is often preferred for thin sheet and cosmetic welds; MIG is efficient for production and robust joints. We’ll recommend the best option based on your drawings and requirements. You can also specify the process on your drawing.

Do you support spot welding for enclosures and cabinet structures?

Yes — spot welding is ideal for fast, consistent sheet-to-sheet joining. It’s commonly used for cabinet structures, brackets, and lap joint configurations where continuous beads are not required.

Can you meet cosmetic requirements (clean welds, smooth surface for coating)?

Yes. Specify the cosmetic face and whether blending is required. We’ll plan the weld and finishing process accordingly. We support grinding, polishing, sandblasting, and other post-weld surface treatments to achieve the desired appearance.
